Providing a high profile, cost-effective security presence as well as an effective visual deterrent for enhancing visual security.
In addition to providing a range of manned security solutions we can offer you a range of additional services to provide a total security solution customised to your exact requirements. Some of these services have been developed to meet the demands of our clients so if you have a requirement that isn’t shown here or you just want some more information give one of the team at SPS Security a call.
Mobile Patrols
The SPS Security mobile patrol fleet comprises of a team of trained officers in marked vehicles patrolling and protecting assignments at regular intervals.
SPS Security can provide Mobile Security Patrols to give you an increased security presence to protect your property for when static, manned security is either not appropriate or cost prohibitive.
You can tailor our services to fit your requirements. Choose from a set number of random patrols throughout the night to having regular internal weekend patrols. No matter which option or combination you choose our patrols are highly visible and instantly identifiable as security officers so as to deter any unwanted visitors to your premises.
We provide internal and external patrols of premises, a lockdown or open-up facility, or just provide the ‘comfort factor’ – checking on the security of lone workers.
Our mobile patrol team also deals with property check and meter readings on tenanted and vacant properties. We work with a number of management agents and property fund managers as well as individual landlords.
This service can be offered primarily within two regional areas of a 45-mile radius; Our primary service areas are: East Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire including Hull, Beverley, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, and South & West Yorkshire including Doncaster, Wakefield, Leeds and Bradford. Prohibiting ourselves to only a certain catchment area allows our teams to respond within an adequate time limit and provide a professional response service should the need arise.
However due to our expansion within our Technical Division and other areas within the SPS Group, we have partnered with National Local Providers to offer a complete one stop solution to your security requirements.
Working 365 days a year, mobile patrols are carried out as frequently as required and each patrol is recorded using a comprehensive patrol management system allowing real-time data reporting through an online portal to give full transparency on the service in which we deliver.
Our clients can have 24-hour access to the service on which we deliver.

Other Services we offer.....
One of the most vulnerable times for any organisation is the initial opening and final locking up of a building when typically one person is left to carry out these duties alone. SPS Security can arrange for a mobile patrol officer to attend to unlock or lockup your premises at a time that is convenient to you. In the morning, our officers can unlock your premises; carry out a security check and handover to the designated member of your team. Similarly, in the evening in addition to locking up, our officers can if required turn off lights, power down computers and equipment and set intruder alarms. Just give us a checklist of all your requirements and leave the rest to us.
It is a requirement of many insurance companies that regular vacant property inspections are carried out to ensure that the building is secure and intact in order for you to comply with the terms of the policy. And since vacant properties can be a magnet for vandals, thieves, arsonists, squatters or even children, not making sure you are in compliance with the terms of your insurance could be a costly oversight.
A call to SPS Security is all it will take to provide a comprehensive inspection routine that will protect your investment and avoid expensive and time-consuming delays removing unwanted trespassers or costly repairs. SPS Security will provide you with a full report including photographic evidence of each inspection so you have a complete overview of your vacant property portfolio.
Our security checklist includes:
- Checking and securing doors, windows and all other access points.
- Inspecting for water leaks and damage.
- Check for gas and electrical hazards and potential fire risks.
- Assessing the general condition of the interior.
- Check for evidence of trespass, squatting, graffiti and vandalism.
- Perform meter readings.
We feel nothing should be more important to your business than the safety of your employees. If you require, we can provide security escort services for many situations including:
- Escorting staff to their vehicles or workplaces during times of increased risk.
- Supporting staff members who may be vulnerable while shutting down premises at night.
- Providing assistance to unmanned or remote locations.
- Attending alarm activations to assist your appointed keyholders.
It is a requirement of British Standards guidance that fire alarm systems should be tested on a weekly basis, but many companies will only make occasional checks or neglect testing altogether. Carrying out regular tests ensures all alarm systems are in full working order and will familiarise employees with alarm signals and the procedures they need to follow in the event of a real Fire emergency. Our officers will make weekly checks on your behalf of all your fire alarm systems and schedule maintenance if the need arises.
